Kuratorns roll i vårdens moraliska ekonomi - en kritisk analys av det reproduktiva arbetets värdering

Abstract

By connecting the role of medical social workers to what feminist and Marxist scholars call “the moral economy of care”, this article contributes to the analysis of medical social work in the reproductive sphere of society. The concept of the “moral economy of care” is introduced in order to highlight the tensions between professional norms and loyalties, and societal estimations of the value of social work. The article contributes to analyses of the strength and challenges with a strong social work profession in the healthcare system.
