Maja. En reflektion musikterapeutiskt arbete med en ung patient med förvärvad hjärnskada

Abstract

The article is about music therapeutic work with a young patient suffering from acquired brain injury. As a consequence of the brain injury the patient suffers from a diagnosed low consciousness. The article describes how certain communication can be achieved and developed through music therapeutic methods despite the low consciousness. The article highligts the possibilities of music to reach a person who otherwise has reduced opportunity for communication.
