A story about the emergence of LCHF diet

Abstract

The story presented provides a short description of the emergence of LCHF diet as a key strategy for weight reduction. Historically, two paradigms have influenced the dietary advice. Reduction of fat or reduction of carbohydrates. The sugar industry has over the years supported the first paradigm. Since the systematic reviews were presented back in 2009 the second paradigm were adviced that we need more fat and less carbohydrates. Saturated fat is not dangerous for cardiovascular health.
